La Academia publicó la lista de los prenominados a los premios Óscar 2020

El documental brasileño "Democracia em Vertigem" se encuentra entre los seleccionados

Este lunes la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas de Hollywood publicó la lista de las películas prenominadas a los Óscar en las categorías de Mejor documental, Mejor cortometraje documental, Mejor película internacional, Mejores efectos visuales, Mejor canción original, Mejor banda sonora, Mejor cortometraje animado, Mejor cortometraje live-action, Mejor peinado y maquillaje. 

Entre los seleccionados solo hay dos latinoamericanos en la disputa: el documental brasileño Democracia em vertigem, dirigido por Petra Costa, que narra los acontecimientos políticos en Brasil desde Lula hasta la elección de Jair Bolsonaro; y el documental Midnight Family de México 

Entre las cintas seleccionadas en la categoría Mejor película internacional están Parásito, de Bong Joon-Ho, que ganó la Palma de Oro en Cannes, y Dolor y Gloria, de Pedro Almodóvar. La lista final de nominados en cada categoría, incluidos las aún no anunciadas, se publicará el 13 de enero. La ceremonia de los premios Óscar 2020 se realizará el 9 de febrero.
